Playing games for Lauren's third birthday. Happy birthday sweet Lauren!!

All About Lauren

1. Loves Dora the Explorer

2. My Little Pony- her favorite pony is Pinkie Pie

3. Occasionally asks to go to bed

4. Usually doesn't want a song or story read, just says, "Sweet Dreams" and wants parent to leave.

5. Rarely has tantrums

6. Still does "stink face" sometimes

7. Knows most of her alphabet letters

8. If you call her princess, she'll say, "No, I not a princess, I a girl!

9. Obeys most of the time

10. Finally into size 3 clothes, barely.

11. One night she woke up yelling. We found her in the hallway outside her bedroom. She was yelling, "Cookies!! Cookies!!! Cookies!" No, we didn't give her cookies. Back to bed, little girl!

12. Has a high pitched, tiny voice. We've tried to hear a lower octave but haven't found one yet.

13. Loves the song, I am a Child of God.

14. Loves Dora pajamas, Dora books, Dora movies, Dora candyland game, anything Dora!!

15. Her favorite color is purple.

16. She plays so well with Lincoln, and holds her ground with him too!

17. Usually has a one sided ponytail (although pigtails have been a hit lately)

18. Loves necklaces

19. Dislikes spaghetti or any type of noodles

20. Is my sweetest girl ever!! I'm so glad Heavenly Father sent her to our family. Love you so much, Lauren.  

This girl LOVES Dora. So a Dora cake it is. She picked out the cake, and the purple frosting. We put a couple of her Dora the Explorer figurines on the cake, with some Dora sugar faces, sprinkles, and boom----a perfect cake for 3 year old Lauren. 

We found out in November that we are having a baby GIRL.  Lauren is happy about this baby being a girl. She told us she thought it was going to be a girl. Lincoln was dead set on this being a boy. When we told him this baby was a girl, he was devastated and sobbed. It was funny and bittersweet. He's so much better now and is excited for baby sister to come. 

22 weeks? Third child syndrome. This is the first and only belly photo we have so far with her inside. 

My parents and little brother came to visit us for Thanksgiving. It was my first time hosting, which turned out to be fun and not stressful at all. Here is Lauren with Grandpa! Wish I had more pictures from the weekend.
