Camping Trip and Baseball Game

Last week Vance and I doubled with his sister, Janessa and her husband Jeremy to a Minnesota Twins game! It was our first time at the Target baseball field. We went to this game because the Twins were playing the Phillies, a team that the Murray family loves. Below is Janessa and Jeremy. We love them! Janessa is due with a baby boy 3 1/2 weeks before us, so it is fun to have them so close.

We had so much fun at the game. Vance loves the Phillies, so he was especially excited to be there. They ended up winning the game, which was like icing on the cake for the evening.

Here is me and my sweetheart!!! I love this man!!!

The weekend after the game (last weekend) we went camping with our friends, Kelsey, Anthony, and McKenna Bryson. The weather ended up being really nice and there was no rain. Lincoln loves camping so much that he has a really hard time falling asleep. He didn't fall asleep until 12:30 AM and then at 5:30 AM he woke up to the sound of the birds. He started crying to get out of the tent so he could go and play. To appease him and at least prevent others from waking from his crying I got up with him. We all went home and Vance and I ended up taking a 3 1/2 hour nap, with Lincoln napping nearly 5 hours!!

Anyway, here are our friends, the Brysons. They are fun to be with and their little girl is an angel.

Lincoln and McKenna are now even better buddies. Lincoln loves her and decided to give her a hug.

Here he is showing her how to use this grill...

I guess I didn't put enough mosquito repellant on Lincoln's face. He was so squirmy and was trying to run away that I just assumed he had enough, but it definitely wasn't. This picture gives you a general idea of how sad he looked the next evening. But it looked so much worse. I counted 20 bites on his head, ears, and face. I felt so horrible. He was rubbing his face and we made a quick trip to the store to get some cream to relieve the itching. Poor boy. I have learned my lesson!!

Something Wonderful Coming in November

News Flash!

Vance and I are expecting our second child on November 9th! We told many people but haven't made a post about it on this blog yet.

We're 16.5 weeks along already. According to one book I have, he/she is supposed to be 4-5 inches from crown to rump and 3-5 ounces in weight. Besides being very tired for a few weeks in the first trimester, I have felt very little nausea, and have been pretty lucky to feel fantastic just like in my first pregnancy with Lincoln.

Honestly, I am a little nervous about running errands and trying to get things accomplished with a barely 2 year old (who currently runs away and doesn't come back when I tell him too!) and a newborn, but I suppose if it is hard time will help! Vance has always been very helpful and supportive so I know he'll be there with me all along the way. We're really excited for another little one to join our family. We feel very blessed by our Heavenly Father for this opportunity to have another child in our lives.

Mitt's Biggest Fan

The other night I was talking to Lincoln about baseball. For whatever reason, he cracked up anytime he heard the word "mitt". Given the upcoming presidential election, Annalisa and I decided to have a little fun with it.

Goldfish Make Lincoln Happy

This is a cute video that we took in 3 or so months ago, in early February.
